Fans of “The Office” can’t seem to get enough of their favorite show, and we can’t blame them. “The Office” is still one of the most popular streaming shows on Netflix, especially now that viewers are spending more time at home, binge-watching to their heart’s delight.

If you’re one of those fans who knows every line ever uttered on the mockumentary series, you’ll probably be excited to learn that a new podcast hosted by the actor who played Dunder Mifflin accountant Kevin Malone is launching soon!

“An Oral History of ‘The Office’,” hosted by actor Brian Baumgartner, begins a 12-episode run on Spotify starting Tuesday, July 14, according to Entertainment Weekly. The podcast will launch with three episodes on the first day followed by a new episode each Tuesday.

According to the audio trailer currently on Spotify, fans can expect a deep-dive into the series which ran on NBC for nine seasons (2005-2013). Baumgartner will talk with show creators about how the show almost never got produced, and then why it failed to gain traction early on.

After examining “The Office’s” less-than-spectacular start, the podcast’s host will also connect with some of the TV series’s actors including Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey to discuss how the show finally found its groove and the impact it has had on popular culture and the lives of those involved in its production.

This will be the second podcast hosted by members of “The Office” cast. Fischer and Kinsey launched their “Office Ladies” podcast in 2019 in which the real-life best friends re-watch every episode of the show, discuss their favorite plot lines and share exclusive behind-the-scenes stories.

Unlike “Office Ladies,” however, Baumgartner’s podcast series will delve into the show’s origins, and reveal details about how this sitcom about a Scranton, Pennsylvania paper company came to life.

Will you tune into “An Oral History of ‘The Office'”?
