Olive Garden is hosting its 21st annual “Never Ending Pasta” promotion. If you missed out on your chance to purchase one of these coveted passes last year, this could be your year!
According to CNN, the restaurant chain will have 21,000 passes for sale this year. That’s 10 times more passes than last year, when only 2,000 were available (they sold out within one minute). Olive Garden also revealed that 21 additional passes will be put up for auction on eBay after the sale ends. So, if you missed your opportunity in the initial sale, check eBay.
The $100 pass includes unlimited pasta bowls, soft drinks, salad and breadsticks during a seven-week period this fall. Passes will go on sale online for one hour starting at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, Sept. 15 (tomorrow!). The promotion period starts October 3 and ends November 20. That’s seven weeks to indulge in an unlimited amount of your favorite pasta dishes! Olive Garden is making the promotion extra special this year by adding chicken alfredo to the list of pasta options included in the deal (a crowd favorite).
If you are curious about how much you would actually use the pass, last year the average owner of a pass ate 28 meals at an Olive Garden throughout the promotion period, which amounts to about one in five meals!
As part of the promotion, you also get unlimited Coca-Cola beverages for you, the passholder, and your guests. The promotion is only valid for meals eaten in-restaurant (not taken to go).
The best part about this promotion (aside from he unlimited pasta of course), is that the proceeds will be donated to Feeding America, a nonprofit that operates food banks across the U.S.
So, be sure to be at your computer tomorrow, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. ET to purchase your pass before it’s too late!
