One Lucky Winner Will Get To Stay In Dracula’s Castle This Halloween
You could win a vampire's dream vacation.
Cancel those Oct. 31 trick-or-treating plans because your Halloween’s about to get a whole lot spookier (and more glamorous!). If you’re a fan of all things “Dracula,” then you’re going to love this.
You could win a chance to stay in the Bran Castle, the very one that inspired the Dracula story. Thanks to a contest hosted by Airbnb, you could be living like the count. The stay is for one night only on Oct. 31, of course, and it’s in the Transylvania region of Romania,
A visit to the AirBNB page will allow you to enter to win this sweepstakes for you and a guest. The contest opened on Oct. 17 and closes on Oct. 26.
If you should be so lucky to win, here is just a short list of what you’ll get:
- A flight to Romania
- Travel insurance
- Paid expenses for your stay in Romania
- A one-night stay at the Bran Castle.
But, this isn’t just your ordinary AirBNB kind of vacation. Oh no, you’ll be in full-on vampire mode, so, naturally, you’ll sleep in a velvet-lined coffin while in the castle.
When you arrive, you’ll be brought to the castle in a horse-drawn carriage and given a tour of the house, with the grand-nephew to “Dracula” author, Bram Stoker, as your guide.
Before retiring for the evening, you’ll also dine on meals described in the book. You’ll eat “robber beef steak” and “paprika hendl chicken,” according to Real Simple. So, talk about the ultimate Halloween fantasy night, am I right?
If you’re prepared to spend one night in the same way a vampire might, then this is the contest for you. Be sure to visit the AirBNB listing before the contest period ends to live like Count Dracula on the night of Halloween. Lay down in the velvet-y coffin, cross your arms over your chest and sleep tight!
