Officially, Starbucks doesn’t have a secret menu. Unofficially, if you share all the ingredients of a particular drink, a barista may be able to make it for you.
If you’re looking for a holiday-themed coffee drink with an extra jolt of caffeine, consider a Toasted Caramel Brûlée Cold Brew. The recipe is also posted on Totally The Bomb.
First, ask for a Venti Sweet Cream Cold Brew, without the vanilla syrup. Then, ask for a couple of pumps each of caramel brûlée and toasted white mocha. Request two more pumps of the brûlée to be blended in with the sweet cream cold foam. Finally, finish off with Starbucks’ caramel brûlée topping.

Past secret menu Starbucks items include the strawberry matcha concocted by TikTok user @gerrigerrigerri, who also works as a Starbucks barista. The user, also known as YourFriendlyBarista, made the beverage with pink drink (Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher with coconut milk), vanilla cold foam and a scoop of matcha.
Another popular secret menu item from the coffee chain includes the “Ghostbusters” Frappuccino. To start, ask a barista for a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. Then, add strawberry syrup and raspberry puree, to give it the red and white design that matches the movie’s logo. Top it off with whipped cream and mocha cookie crumbles to get a red, white and black effect.
There are popular secret (and not-so-secret) menus at other chain restaurants, too.
McDonald’s has a couple, including a vegetarian-friendly grilled cheese sandwich, and a surf and turf, combining a cheeseburger and a Filet-O-Fish. And if you’re in the mood for a virgin tequila sunrise, head to Sonic and order a drink with equal parts orange juice and cherry limeade. The tip comes from the Krazy Coupon Lady, who also adds it costs $3.09 for a large.
For healthier fare, one of Panera’s not-so-secret menu items includes the power breakfast egg white bowl with roasted turkey (it’s even available on the official menu in some locations).
