Papa John’s is making heart-shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day

Cancel the flower order and put the chocolate back on the shelves because Papa John’s has added heart-shaped pizzas to their menu — so, obviously, there’s no better way to celebrate this Valentine’s Day.

If you’re celebrating the holiday of love early, you can order the pizza now. It will be gone after Feb. 14, though, so you won’t be able to order it if you’re waiting for next weekend to celebrate. The one-topping, heart-shaped pizza is $11 or $16 with a double chocolate brownie.

If you don’t have a Papa John’s near you, a few other restaurants are also serving up heart-shaped pizzas this Valentine’s Day, like the California Pizza Kitchen, where you can order any California Pizza Kitchen on a special heart-shaped crispy thin crust at no additional charge from Feb. 13–17.

You can also get a heart-shaped pizza at Firenza Pizza or, if you’re not having a great Valentine’s Day, order up one of their broken heart-shaped pizzas for $5.99 instead.

Firenza Pizza

Of course, you could also make a heart-shaped pizza yourself, using a recipe like this one from Pillsbury that only calls for four ingredients. Or you can take it one step further and create this amazing pizza bouquet from Reynolds Wrap. It’s a bit more complicated than just making a heart shape with dough, but the effort looks worth it when you see how beautiful a pizza bouquet actually is!

All you need is aluminum foil, floral foam, wooden skewers and your pizza ingredients. After cutting pre-made pizza dough into strips and placing half pepperonis on top, roll the dough to create rose-like shapes and then put them in a cupcake tin. Once they’re done baking, use the floral foam and wooden skewers to create your bouquet. You can get the full instructions on the Reynolds Wrap website.
