Paris Hilton Just Got Engaged With The Most Incredible Ring

Paris Hilton is officially engaged to “The Leftovers” actor Chris Zylka — and wait until you get a look at her engagement ring!

It’s a pear-shaped 20-carat center stone set on a platinum split shank halo band with another two carats of smaller diamonds, valued at close to two million dollars, according to People.com.

The socialite/businesswoman took to Instagram to let her followers know that Zylka proposed on a mountaintop during a ski trip in Aspen, Colo. Check out the pictures below:

“Paris at one point in time told Chris she really loved her mother’s pear-shaped diamond, and when Chris came to me that was his request,” diamond expert and celebrity jeweler Michael Greene, who designed the ring, told People.com. “The pear-shaped really jumped out for him and ultimately for her. He did some fishing, but in the end it was all him. He’s a smart guy, and hangs out a lot with the family, and I think she realized how much she liked her mom’s ring.”

Hilton also shared a video of the life-changing moment, and she seems pretty impressed with her dazzling ring as she slides it on:

“The most romantic moment of my life! #Engaged,” she wrote.

It’s not just all about the bling, though. Hilton also gushed about her excitement over her new fiancé. “I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” Hilton told People.com. “I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!”

Although Hilton and Zylka met at an Oscars party eight years ago, they didn’t reconnect until about two years ago.

For his part, Zylka also can’t wait to make Hilton his bride. “Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out,” he said. “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
