Peanut butter snowballs are almost too cute to eat

Six Sisters' Stuff

The holidays will be here before we know it and our daydreams are already drifting to all the homemade goodies that come with the season. Of course, there are countless kinds of Christmas cookies to bake and enjoy. However, there is something extra special about homemade candy for the holidays.

In our never-ending search to find yummy recipes to share, we came across a sweet and savory edible snowball that might become a new traditional holiday treat for your family. These Peanut Butter Snowballs, courtesy of Six Sisters’ Stuff, look like something a tiny team of elves would roll up to get ready for a snowball fight. They are so cute!

But, as cute as they look, they’re too tempting to pass up! These peanut butter snowballs are a variation of a classic candy truffle — a soft or chewy filling inside, coated with some kind of chocolate.

The best thing about this recipe is its simplicity. Making homemade candy can be challenging, but Six Sisters’ Stuff breaks it down step-by-step. You can have these made in just over an hour and it will look and taste like you spent all day on these candies!

This is a no-bake recipe, which is great if the oven is being used for other holiday goodies. There are only five ingredients needed to make this recipe, including creamy peanut butter, white chocolate or almond bark, and sprinkles. Once you mix everything together, you’ll freeze your creations so they don’t melt when you dip them in the candy coating. Check out the full recipe and some helpful tips here.

These candies could make a nice gift for friends, but we’re not sure they’ll make it out of the house!

If you’re looking for other peanut-buttery treats that would work well for a holiday table, consider peanut butter-stuffed brownies from Gimme Delicious or No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Haystacks from Simply Stacie.
