People are transforming this Costco playhouse into miniature dream homes for their kids

Oh, the things parents will do for their kids! The latest? It appears that parents are taking a popular, $300 life-sized playhouse from Costco and adding paint, window treatments and more to create miniature dream homes for their children. Talk about going above and beyond.

PopSugar pointed out that photos of these playhouse transformations were popping up on Instagram. While the photos of these homes are quite impressive, it’s nice to know that these DIY projects don’t seem to actually require a lot of carpentry skills. Rather, they’re projects all parents should feel capable of trying out, especially if you’re looking for a fun weekend project.
