Petco Is Offering A Free Nail Trim For Dogs

You most likely already have your holiday outfits (and manicures) planned at this point, but if you have a furry friend at home, don’t forget about their style, too! No, you don’t have to put them in their own ugly sweater, but it may be time to head to the groomers and get a bit fancied up before guests arrive.

Luckily, Petco is offering free nail trims to make sure your four-legged pals don’t scratch up your guests when they jump around with holiday excitement. Not to mention: Anytime you can outsource this task, most dog owners will want to do just that!

How To Get The Free Trim

To get the free nail trim, all you have to do is become a Pals Rewards Member, which is free to join. Then, print this coupon or show it on your mobile device and present proof of your Pals Rewards membership. There is a limit of one coupon per family, and dogs must be current on vaccinations.

The deal goes through Dec. 31. So if you’re already too busy to add on one more thing before Christmas, your pup can get their nails trimmed for the New Year instead.

As a member of Pals Rewards, you’ll also get other deals, such as one point for every $1 spent, which turns into a $5 reward when you reach 100 points. You’ll also get a free birthday gift and free shipping with repeat delivery.

Free Toothbrush Kits For Kindergarten And First Grade Teachers

You also won’t want to miss this great giveaway from Colgate (or pass along to any teachers you know!).

Good oral hygiene habits need to start at an early age, and Colgate is teaming up with teachers to spread the word. The toothpaste company’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program provides a collection of classroom materials and free items for kindergarten and first-grade teachers to share with their students.

According to Colgate, the goal of Bright Smiles, Bright Futures is to provide kids with oral care education that will keep their teeth healthy for a lifetime. Each teacher who signs up online will receive Colgate toothpaste and toothbrush samples for 25 students.

In addition to downloading any educational information from the company’s site, teachers are encouraged to apply to get their classrooms kit now. Classrooms are expected to receive their kits by February 2019 — which, as Colgate points out, is just in time for National Children’s Dental Health month.
