9 firefighters had babies within 5 months—and they all posed in the sweetest photo shoot

Nine of the firefighters at the Rancho Cucamonga, California, Fire Department welcomed babies within five months of each other. That alone is noteworthy enough, but then, the co-workers posed for an adorable photoshoot with their little ones, and the results are too cute.

On Sept. 22, Rancho Cucamonga Fire posted the photos on their Facebook page, and people couldn’t get enough. The post has received over 6,000 reactions, more than 700 comments and more than 3,000 shares.

“Say hello to Rancho Cucamonga Fire’s newest little family members!” read the post accompanying the super-cute pictures. “Between March and July of this year, nine babies were born in the department and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture this special moment. We are thrilled to see our RCFD fire family keep growing!”

The post includes photos with some of the dads perching babies on their knees, as well as a pic of them holding their little ones up into the air. The dads are wearing their work pants and matching RCFD tees, and the kiddos all have matching onesies, of course.

How precious are the babies laying on their dads’ uniforms?

Their moms joined in for one of the photos, too!

The nine babies were all born between March and July of this year. Talk about a baby boom! Gabrielle Costello, a spokesperson for the department and one of the new moms, told CNN that news of all the babies being born to the firefighters spread “like wildfire.”

And no, she said, the coworkers did not plan to have their babies in rapid succession! The new mom says she’s looking forward to having a built-in community for both her daughter and herself. We’re guessing these little ones will grow up with excellent fire safety knowledge.

This isn’t the first time a number of firefighters in one department all welcomed babies in a short time period. In 2018, seven firefighters at the Glenpool, Oklahoma, Fire Department had babies within a few months of one another and they, too, posed for adorable photos with their little ones.
