“He’s so cute, he’s my muse and if he didn’t piss me off so much, I’d not have a lot to say, thank you,” she told the crowd of Hart. “I literally wouldn’t be standing up here if it weren’t for you, so don’t change.”
The couple’s two kids were also in attendance, and Pink thanked them, as well. “To my children, Willow Sage and Jameson Moon, you guys are my stars and I would never shine without you. Everybody, thanks, I love you!”
Pink and Hart’s relationship hasn’t always been so smooth. Two years after they married in 2006, the couple separated and even went as far as to draw up divorce papers. The pair eventually reconciled and went on to start a family.
Pink acknowledged their bumpy relationship in an Instagram post in 2018:
In addition to her family, the “What About Us” singer was joined at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony by her friend, Ellen DeGeneres, who honored Pink with a speech of her own.
“When I was asked to speak about Pink, I was excited because it’s one of my favorite colors,” DeGeneres said. “I know Alecia: ‘shy,’ ‘lazy,’ ‘quiet,’ ‘timid,’ ‘doormat’ — no one has ever used those words to describe you. Her greatest accomplishment was doing the theme song to my show. I’m proud to be your friend, you deserve all of this and more. I love you.”
After the ceremony, Hart shared some behind-the-scenes photos of the event on his Instagram:
Hart didn’t shy away from expressing his feelings, either, captioning his photo, “Such a cool experience watching wifey get her star on Hollywood walk. Proud of you baby.”
