You can now preorder a holiday ornament of Rose from ‘Golden Girls’

Now that you’ve ordered your “Golden Girls” tiki cups, wallpaper and Halloween costumes, you’ll want to make a plan for decking the halls with “Golden Girls” items during the holiday season. First and foremost, you can add this Rose Nylund holiday ornament to your list of things no “Golden Girls” fan can live without!

All four of the fabulous Golden Girls would make dazzling holiday ornaments, of course. But there’s something about Rose Nylund, the sweet St. Olaf girl played by the inimitable Betty White, that just screams, “Holidays!”

And we know Rose was a big fan of the festive season.

“At Christmas, I’ve been known to put away more than one eggnog,” Rose confessed in one episode.

Not only does this new Hallmark holiday ornament feature Rose, resplendent in her blue skirt suit and gold earrings and clutching her yellow coffee mug, it also plays audio clips of some of her hilarious lines from the much-loved TV sitcom, which aired on NBC from 1985 to 1992.

The base of the ornament is emblazoned with “The Golden Girls” logo against that familiar palm tree background.

The “Golden Girls” Rose keepsake ornament comes pre-packaged in a box for easy gifting (and wrapping!) and it requires three LR44 batteries, which are included.

It’s available to pre-order for $19.99 from Hallmark, and is expected to ship on Oct. 5.

Since this is a pre-order item, there aren’t any reviews of the actual ornament, but this much we know already: We’re going to need some Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia ornaments, too.
