The Internet Thinks Prince Harry And This NFL Player Are The Same Person

Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales (aka Prince Harry) is a 33-year-old Army veteran, philanthropist and prince of the United Kingdom.

Carson Wentz is a 24-year-old professional quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

What do they have in common? Well, everyone on the internet seems to think that they’re twins. Or brothers. Or possibly the same person.

Consider the evidence: Both men have ginger hair and beards, prominent ears and happy smiles. Twitter users (many of them Eagles fans) are flipping out over how much the two look alike:

Wentz tore his ACL in the Dec. 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams and will be out for the rest of the season. Now, some fans are using that injury to take the joke even further.

Neither Prince Harry or Buckingham Palace has weighed in on the ~ conspiracy ~. Ditto for Wentz himself, who is probably focusing on healing and rehabilitating after his injury.

There is certainly a resemblance between the two men, but I don’t think they look as much alike as everyone else seems to think. However, I’ve been a royal watcher for many years, so maybe I’m just more aware of what Prince Harry looks like. With his wedding to actress Meghan Markle coming up in May 2018, the rest of the world is going to become be pretty darn familiar with his face, too.

Likeness aside, one thing the two men do have in common is a commitment to serving others. Wentz recently launched the AO1 Foundation, whose mission is to “demonstrate the love of God by providing opportunities and support for the less fortunate and those in need.”

Prince Harry (and indeed, his entire family) is well-known for his charity work, particularly his ongoing involvement with the Invictus Games. Founded by the prince, the Invictus Games are an international sporting event for wounded, injured, or sick service personnel.

Maybe Carson Wentz could appear at one of future Invictus Games at the same time as Prince Harry? Then we can really get to the bottom of this mystery once and for all!
