Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon take their first royal tour
After saying “I do” nearly a month ago in an incredible ceremony, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal duties are forging full-steam ahead. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already attended events as a happily married couple, but now the schedule for their first royal tour has been announced.
According to the official Kensington Palace account on Instagram, the couple will travel to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will undertake an official visit to Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand in the autumn,” the palace explained.

The trip will take place this fall, around the time that the Invictus Games will be held in Sydney in October.
This will be the first time the Duke and Duchess have taken a royal tour as husband and wife, which is just one of many firsts we’ll get to watch them experience together.
Recently, the world watched as Markle made her first appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony for Queen Elizabeth’s birthday celebration, which is called Trooping The Color:

So far, Markle seems to be fulfilling her royal duties just fine!
There’s been no official announcement, but the couple is rumored to have already taken a two-week honeymoon in between Prince Charles’ birthday celebration and the Queen’s birthday celebration.
Markle is also scheduled to take a solo trip with the Queen on June 14. But when they are able to slow down a bit, they’ve reportedly got a new country home in the Cotswolds to scoot off to for some R&R. So, it’s not all work and no play for these newlyweds!
We can’t wait to watch as Prince Harry and Markle experience life as a modern royal couple together. By the sounds of it, there’s a lot to look forward to!
