It was taken earlier this year by @chrisjacksongetty Their Royal Highnesses have also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018. The Willcocks Nursery School has said: "We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January."

What’s In Store For The Cambridges In 2018
The Instagram caption also gave away important news about what the New Year will hold for the family (besides, you know, a new baby!). According to the post, Princess Charlotte will be starting Willcocks Nursery School in January 2018. She’s growing up so quickly!
We remember Prince George’s first day of school like it was yesterday. Here he was on his way to nursery school in 2016:

Big things are in store for the family in 2018. Not only is their little girl going off to nursery school, but William and Kate are expecting their third child in April. They’ll also be welcoming Meghan Markle into the royal family when she marries Prince Harry in May. Exciting times, indeed!
Holiday Cards From Years Past
This isn’t the first time that the family has shared their holiday photo with the public.
Their 2016 snap—reportedly mailed rather than shared via Kensington Palace’s official account—featured a candid shot of the family of four stopping while on a visit to Canada to get balloon animals made while out for a day of fun.

A new family photo – Merry Christmas from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year and are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four.
This year’s card definitely highlights just how much the children have grown up! No matter how old Prince George and Princess Charlotte get, we hope the family photos keep coming. Because this family is seriously too cute.
We can’t wait for what 2018 holds in store for them!
