Princess Charlotte Debuted An Adorable New Hairstyle At Prince Louis’ Christening
So cute! The little princess took a note from her mommy's style book.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George nearly steal the show anywhere they go. They weren’t the focus of their little brother’s christening, but with kids that adorable, it’d be hard not to pay them more than a little attention.
Eleven-week-old Prince Louis was christened on July 9, and of course, his siblings were in attendance. They showed up looking just as perfectly polished as ever, but one thing was different about 3-year-old Princess Charlotte: She was sporting a new ‘do.
Typically, her shoulder-length brown hair is left down, parted to the side and occasionally, fastened on one side with a barrette, like so:
However, on the day of her brother’s christening, she sported a blue headband that matched her outfit and wore her hair parted down the middle:
Her mom, Kate Middleton, has been known to sport a similar middle part, letting her gorgeous, long locks flow. Clearly Princess Charlotte took a note from her mommy’s style book:
The entire family looked great for the joyous occasion. Middleton wore white, as she has done for her other children’s christenings, and Prince William and Prince George both wore navy blue.
For his christening, Prince Louis wore a gown fashioned to look like the Royal Christening Robe first worn by Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal in 1841.
This was the first time the parents and their three children have been photographed together since Prince Louis’s birth, and the family couldn’t have looked more happy.
Middleton gazed adoringly at her youngest son:
It’s the same look of love she gave while posing on the hospital steps:
While Prince George and Princess Charlotte did not pose with their parents outside of the hospital before Prince Louis returned home, they did make quite an entrance on the way to visit their baby brother and mom.
Look at Princess Charlotte’s cheeky wave:
It’s quite possible that Middleton will take a six-month maternity leave from her royal duties, so you may not be seeing much more of this family together in public for a while now that Prince Louis has been officially baptized. But thankfully, these images are cute enough to hold us over!
