There’s big news coming out of the U.K. from the Royal Family. Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their first child!

The news was confirmed via official social media accounts from the monarchy.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,” The Royal Family tweeted. “The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksband, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”

The royal couple married in October 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Princess Eugenie, who is 30, also posted on her own social media with the exciting announcement that they have a new baby on the way.

“Jack and I are so excited for early 2021….👶🏻,” the princess posted on her official Instagram account along with photos of the couple and an adorable pair of teddy bear baby booties.

It didn’t take long for the photos to be shared all over the internet, along with congratulations for the royal parents-to-be.

Many members of the Royal Family also hopped on social media to offer well wishes and share their joy in the baby news.

Prince Charles, who is next in line for the British throne, and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, tweeted their congratulations to the princess and her husband.

This will be the first grandchild for Andrew, the Duke of York, and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. The soon-to-be grandmother tweeted her anticipation over her new title, writing, “cannot wait to be a grandmother.”

As is the norm with royal pregnancy announcements, no specific due date was mentioned. So, it looks like there will be another royal baby birth in the works for sometime early next year.

Congratulations to the parents-to-be and their entire family!
