Kids Can Now Get a Princess Leia Makeover On A Disney Cruise

Step aside, Snow White. You too, Cinderella. There’s a new princess experience coming to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the Disney cruise line. Who is this princess, you ask? None other than “Star Wars”‘ heroine, General Leia Organa!

According to the Disney Parks Blog, those lucky enough to be aboard the Disney Fantasy in 2018 will have the opportunity to pop in its Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to get fully decked out with a special “Star Wars” package. Note that these Galactic Transformations are only available on “Star Wars” Day at Sea, which is offered on select seven-night Caribbean cruises.

Unique experiences on the “Star Wars” at Sea include mingling with R2-D2, Chewbacca and Darth Vader if you’re up to it; opportunities to train like a true Jedi (you know you always wanted to!); ship-wide scavenger hunts; and plenty of “Star Wars”themed entertainment.

Back to the makeovers! Both girls and boys can get in on the fun which comes complete with a galactic costume, makeup and hairstyle. Kids ages three to 12 can transform into their favorite characters whether that be Leia herself, Kylo Ren or an X-Wing pilot. Disney is also offering a personalized name tag, lanyard with medallion and magnet set. Kids will also receive a sweet cinch bag to take home.

If you’re a fully-grown adult or teen, that’s totally fine. Who in their right mind wouldn’t enjoy playing dress-up on a Disney cruise ship?! Disney has you covered with a Rey makeover that includes a stylish dress, makeup and hairstyle. Not into Rey? No problem. Choose from one of four “Star Wars”-themed T-shirt options to wear as you sail the seas.

Disney suggests that you reserve your spot at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on disneycruise.com before your Disney Fantasy cruise. The “Star Wars” Day at Sea will set sail next month and go through April 2018.

Landlubbers, you won’t be left out! You can still get regular princess or knight makeovers at any of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques located within Disney World and Disneyland. (Current princesses are restricted to Anna, Elsa, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Tinker Bell, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida, though!)

May the Force be with you!
