If you love autumn and you love sweets, do I have some good news for you: Pumpkin Spice Oreos are back!
Yes, my friends. For a limited time only, Oreo is rolling out their Pumpkin Spice-flavored cookies. These beauties are exclusively available at a Target near you, and they retail for $2.99 per package.
Made with Golden Oreos and a Pumpkin Spice Creme filling, these seasonal treats are beloved by many, and have even been called “surprisingly delightful.”
However, some people have complained that the Pumpkin Spice Oreos smell a bit too much like a scented candle, while others say that the treats taste more like gingerbread instead of pumpkin.
And others are wondering if the pumpkin spice craze (which has spread to cough drops, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Life cereal) is going too far:

In addition to the Pumpkin Spice Oreos, Nabisco debuted a new seasonal cookie this year: Apple Pie Oreos.
Apple Pie Oreos also cost $2.99, and they are made with graham cracker cookies and an apple pie-flavored creme. They’ve been available since mid-August and reviews for this flavor are a bit mixed:
They're sweet like #honey pie

it was okay. I would recommend the developers to tone down the allspice/ginger notes. The apple is a tad too earthy tasting vs. brown sugary

Of course, some people think it’s time to just leave well enough alone:
Leave the oreo alone.

If you’re an Oreo purist, but you still want to enjoy a seasonal Oreo treat, try making your own seasonal batch of sweets!
Over at Something Swanky, food blogger Ashton shared a mouth-watering recipe for pumpkin pie with an Oreo cookie crust:
Yes, please!
Or, since the fall weather has not begun in earnest, why not enjoy a cool treat such as a pumpkin spice Oreo milkshake? And, here’s a genius idea: You can even ‘spike’ it with your favorite liquor.
What do you think? Have you tried the new seasonal Oreos? Are you sick of pumpkin spice everything?
