Pumpkin spice whipped cream is coming to grocery store shelves to make all your fall treats even more delicious
Fall may not officially be here, but that doesn’t mean the excitement for the flavor of the season hasn’t already started. Just the thought of a crisp fall day and a pumpkin spice-flavored treat in hand can help you make it through the final dog days of summer — and now there’s one more to get excited about.
A representative for Whole Foods confirmed to Delish that it will be rolling out pumpkin spice whipped topping to Whole Foods locations everywhere in September.
Apparently, some stores already have it in stock because Instagram user @markie_devo spotted the new whipped cream on Whole Foods shelves in late August— giving us all the perfect reason to wish fall would hurry up and get here already!
(It looks like there’s also a Maple Vanilla version, for those folks who — gasp! — aren’t crazy about pumpkin spice.)

“Whole Foods said put on that over sized [sic] sweater and head on down, because they are not playing games,” the caption read.
According to the Instagram caption, the pumpkin spice whipped topping will also be joined by maple vanilla whipped topping that will be the perfect way to top your coffee, hot cocoa, pumpkin pie and more this fall.
Given the popularity of the pumpkin spice latte and other pumpkin-flavored items, we have a feeling this whipped cream won’t stay in stock for very long. So, the sooner you can snag a bottle from Whole Foods, the better.
An internet search revealed that Whole Foods is apparently alone in the genius idea to bottle pumpkin spice whipped topping and sell it, so it may be the only place you’re able to find it — besides atop a PSL from Starbucks, of course.
However, you can make a similar version at home using this recipe from McCormick. This homemade pumpkin spice whipped cream is made with confectioners’ sugar, pumpkin pie spice and heavy cream.
From pumpkin spice Oreos to pumpkin spice Frosted Flakes and Life cereal to pumpkin spice Godiva truffles and even pumpkin spice rum from Captain Morgan, pumpkin spice treats are literally everywhere this time of year.
And this new pumpkin spice whipped topping might just be the, well, cream of the crop!
