Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth II made a surprise visit to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital on Wednesday. Her Majesty stopped by to offer get well wishes for some of the youngest victims of the Monday’s bomb attack.

Queen Elizabeth Calls Attack “Very Wicked”

During her visit, the Queen took time to talk with numerous patients and their parents.

The Queen shared her sadness about the suicide bomb attack following an Ariana Grande concert.

“It’s dreadful. Very wicked. To target that sort of thing,” the Queen told Evie Mills, age 14, and her parents during her visit.

The Queen talked with the teen about Grande, sharing that she thought Grande was “a very good singer. She sounds very, very good.” Who knew that Her Majesty listened to Ariana Grande?

Fifteen-year-old Millie Robson also received a royal visit from Queen Elizabeth II. During their time together, Millie and the Queen also talked about the concert. Robson wore an Ariana Grande t-shirt and the Queen took notice. The girl told the Queen she won VIP passes and had a chance to meet the pop star before the concert. Robson was exiting the building after the concert to meet her dad when the bomb went off.

Queen Elizabeth wishes Robson a speedy recovery and shared a nice moment with the teen’s father, David.

“It’s not something you expect at all,” she told him, according to a Telegraph report.
