Queen Elizabeth’s Sitting Room Has a Never-Before-Seen Photo Of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be one of the world’s most-photographed couples right now. The public is focused on every move the newlyweds make, and their recent wedding made for some beautiful photo opportunities. To get a glimpse of the glamorous royal pair, all you have to do is open up your internet browser.
However, there’s one shot of Prince Harry and Markle that you’re unlikely to find anywhere other than inside Buckingham Palace. A never-before-seen framed photograph of the two now rests on a side table inside a room at the palace, one of two places where Queen Elizabeth II resides.
Some eagle eyes spotted the framed picture within another photo of Queen Elizabeth meeting with George Brandis, the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. If you look closely, you can see the photo among other family snapshots on the table:
It’s unclear when or where the photo was taken, but it looks like Prince Harry is wearing a navy suit, while Markle is wearing a pale blue dress.
She may be a monarch, but it’s clear that Queen Elizabeth II is also a doting grandmother. Displaying pictures of their grandchildren throughout their home is kind of a hallmark of being a grandma, after all.
Here’s a closer look at the Queen’s personal photo of her beloved grandson and granddaughter-in-law:
Markle is said to get on famously with the monarch, and Queen Elizabeth even officially gave her approval of their wedding back in March.
Markle also has a lot of respect for her husband’s grandmother and previously spoke about how exciting it was to meet her, calling the queen “an incredible woman.”
Markle seems to be having no trouble settling in with the rest of the royal family, too, as she was recently caught sharing a laugh with Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Harry’s stepmother, during Markle’s first official appearance following the wedding:
We’re so glad she’s been welcomed into the royal family with open arms!
