With one The Little Mermaid remake already in the works and another potential adaptation on the horizon, it’s going to be even harder to get your favorite Disney characters off your mind. What’s another great way to make all of your mermaid-related dreams come true? Casting Rebel Wilson as Ursula. Yep, that’ll do it.
The glam villain took on a whole new life when Wilson played the part in The Little Mermaid live at the Hollywood Bowl. Wilson brought charisma and spunk to the hated sea witch. Not only does she have a killer voice, she’s also got a ton of personality. If you never imagined you’d see your favorite under-the-sea characters come to life, you were definitely mistaken!
The star-studded cast also includes Sara Bareilles as Ariel, John Stamos as Chef Louis and Tituss Burgess as Sebastian.
The production played for three days and has since come to an end, but if you watch this video, you’ll still get to feel as though you were apart of the action.
