It doesn’t need to be cooked or cooled. All you need to do is add all of the ingredients to an ice cream maker and churn until it’s frozen. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can use a stand mixer instead.
Although this is ultimately a sweet treat, you’ll want to start with a dry red wine. The blogger used a dry Cabernet for hers. The result is a super-pretty, boozy treat that’s the ideal dessert to serve on a hot summer night. Because alcohol does not freeze, keep in mind that the ice cream will be on the soft side.
