Reese Witherspoon visited her old Stanford dorm room

Actress and mega-successful businesswoman Reese Witherspoon returned to Stanford University, where she studied in the 1990s, to speak at an event at the business school. While she was on campus, Witherspoon took a trip down memory lane.

She decided to stop by her old dorm room. Witherspoon met with Caitlyn, the student who calls the cramped quarters “home” today, and the two women posed for a photo beside the loft bed in the Stanford dorm room. We imagine this is a snap Caitlyn will never forget!

“She was so nice; she even welcomed me in!” Witherspoon wrote of the co-ed on Instagram.

Witherspoon looks right at home in her old dorm room. The fresh-faced actress might even be able to pass for a current college student, if her striking resemblance to her teenage daughter Ava is any indication. Here’s a pic of Witherspoon during her college days. If you ask us, she doesn’t look much different today—even though a couple of decades have passed!

#TBT to the good ‘ol days 🤓 (aka #CollegeYears)

Witherspoon had returned to campus for an event with business school students. According to Stanford Business, she inspired the students not to shy away from a challenge, saying, “You’re the one responsible for your own path, so throw yourself at it.”

Witherspoon attended Stanford but dropped out to pursue her acting career. Even without that diploma, she’s been incredibly successful. After becoming famous for the blockbuster “Legally Blonde,” Witherspoon’s recent work continues her focus on stories about strong women, told by strong women. Her most recent hit was the 2017 mini-series “Big Little Lies” on HBO, and she also starred in the movie “Wild” based on Cheryl Strayed’s memoir of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail alone.

Oh, and there’s also her huge clothing line, Draper James, now available at Nordstrom.

If you can’t get enough of Witherspoon and “Legally Blonde,” take a trip down memory lane with her. Last year, she brought back Elle Woods on her social media pages for some amazing photos and videos, all in celebration of the movie’s 15th anniversary. Witherspoon relives some of the funniest lines, including, “Whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed.” Of course, she also had to do a bend and snap, which Elle Woods aficionados know “works every time!”

“Still got it!” Witherspoon exclaimed.

We agree: Snaps for Reese!
