Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe attended a debutante ball in Paris

It’s not everyday that your little girl turns 18 years old—so, might as well celebrate in style when she does! That’s exactly what Reese Witherspoon and her mini-me, daughter Ava Phillippe, did! You see, Witherspoon’s daughter attended the 25th annual Bal des Debutantes in Paris to make her debut into society a very special one!

Before being escorted by Padmanabh Singh, the Maharaja of Jaipur, Phillippe posed for photos on the red carpet with her mom. Aww!

Then, when it was time for she and Singh to enter the ball and waltz together, she wore a big, beautiful ball gown by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.

She looked like a real-life version of Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” and couldn’t have been more stunning.

Phillippe is the daughter of Witherspoon and her former husband, Ryan Phillippe. She’s been referred to as her mom’s lookalike in the past, and truly—the resemblance is rather uncanny.

The two have been spotted sporting similar looks in Paris, and they could nearly be mistaken for twins.

And while this was a very memorable way to celebrate Phillippe turning 18, her mom and dad still made her birthday very special.

On the actual day, Witherspoon gave her daughter a very heartfelt gift—letters she’d written to her for the past 18 years.

And her parents also shared birthday wishes on Instagram.

“Your kindness, grace, intelligence and humor never cease to amaze me. I love you and your HUGE (heart) and I feel so lucky that I get to be your mom,” Witherspoon wrote.

Meanwhile her dad wrote, “Even though you’re no longer a child, you’ll always be my little girl. happy [sic] 18th, princess.”

Phillippe isn’t the only 18-year-old to celebrate her coming of age in this very special way, however. The Bal des Debutantes, known as le Bal, began in 1992 and has hosted people from prominent political families and the likes of Sylvester Stalone’s daughter and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughters, as well, according to Today. It’s an even that raises money for charities that assist women, according to the official website.

Witherspoon’s little girl is all grown up, and she couldn’t have had a more special introduction into society. Although—to many Witherspoon fans—she’ll always be the actress’ little girl!
