Looking for a getaway that connects you with nature? You can now rent a beautiful cabin on the Central Coast in New South Wales, Australia. This isn’t any old run-of-the-mill shack, however. Dubbed The Reserve, this eco-friendly cabin was designed by none other than Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey.

If you’re a fan of the Texas native, you probably know that his talents and passion extend way beyond just acting. The Reserve was created as part of McConaughey’s role as creative director of  Wild Turkey Bourbon. The company’s Wild Turkey With Thanks initiative seeks to help and protect the wilderness.

Together with travel start-up Unyoked, McConaughey designed the cabin to include plenty of eco-approved features, including solar panels and sustainable materials which are designed to blend in with the natural environment surrounding it.

The Reserve is now open for bookings, and a portion of all proceeds, as well as $1 from every bottle of McConaughey’s Wild Turkey Longbranch sold in the months of November and December, will be donated to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. The organization’s mission is to “conserve Australia’s unique and natural habitats and wildlife.” It also acquires land in order to expand protected areas.

The Reserve is currently priced at $293 per night on weeknights and $353 per night on weekends, with a two-night minimum on Fridays and Saturdays.

It’s not just an environmentalist’s dream, either. The cabin comes equipped with plenty of fun amenities to help you disconnect and get away from it all, including a hidden Wild Turkey bar as well as book and music collections curated by McConaughey. One thing it doesn’t have? Wi-Fi — so be prepared to truly leave the hustle and bustle of today’s always-on culture behind.

“I’ve always been in awe of Australia’s natural beauty,” McConaughey said in a statement. “My hope now is that The Reserve by Wild Turkey x Unyoked cabin will inspire Australians to reconnect with nature as an antidote to the frenetic pace of life.”

Sounds like a great way to unwind Down Under!
