Woman writes a hilarious review for her eyeliner that ‘Didn’t budge’ in a car accident

When you shop for beauty items, you’re not necessarily looking for makeup that would hold up in a car crash. But hey — if it happens to do so, that’d be a major plus, right?

One woman wrote a hilarious review about how her eyeliner held up — even after she was in a car accident — and the review is going viral. Twitter user @guadalahari brought the review to the attention of the internet, and now people are more than prepared to purchase the eyeliner that just “doesn’t budge.”

Here’s the tweet that started it all. In the span of one week, the post was retweeted more than 230,000 times and racked up more than 600,000 likes and an endless stream of comments.

So, what brand was the miracle eyeliner that stayed put through a car accident and emergency room visit?

It was none other than Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner, and when you read about everything it lasted through, you’ll want to run out and buy it, too!

Here’s what a reviewer going by the name of bluntredhead wrote on the Kat Von D website:

“This product is truly amazing. June 28th I was pulled over in my car calling for roadside assistance when a distracted driver hit me going 55mph. I was taken via ambulance to the ER where I remained for 8 hours. My mascara was running down my face from crying and all other products had been wiped off in the transfer to the hospital. But not my tattoo eyeliner. I am posting a pick [sic] to show you, this product lasts and looks amazing through anything. Never buying any other liner again.”

She titled the review, “I was in a car accident and my eyeliner didn’t budge.”

And she even posted a photo of herself at the hospital as evidence. As you can see, her eyeliner, indeed, is intact and we must say, it looks pretty great!

She’s not alone, either. Other women were posting about similar experiences online.

Twitter user @_carlyyrose also shared a photo of herself after a car accident, showing that her Kat Von D eyeliner didn’t budge. “Can confirm this liner is unstoppable,” she wrote.

This woman, Twitter user @claire_mariek, said she could relate to the car accident story “on a spiritual level”:

Someone else can attest that it holds up to bike incidents as well. Here’s a pic from Twitter user @MadeleineDunne, who was apparently wearing the same long-lasting eyeliner when she was hurt while riding a bike. As in the car accident photo, this woman’s eyeliner appears to have stayed perfectly in place.
