Ricky Martin has officially tied the knot! He and his partner Jwan Yosef kept their wedding ceremony a secret, but now the pop singer is more than ready to tell the world that Yosef is his husband.

Martin first shared his incredible news in a red carpet interview announcing, “I’m a husband!” He told E! News while promoting the movie “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story,” in which he plays a starring role.

He continued, “We exchanged vows, and we’ve swear [sic] everything, and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything… It feels amazing! I can’t introduce him as my fiancé. I can’t. He’s my husband. He’s my man.”

Yosef, who is Syrian-Swedish, is an accomplished artist and the pair met after Martin became interested in work.

They began dating in 2015, and one year later, Martin popped the question. He told Ellen DeGeneres all about the special moment on her show. The singer admitted he was nervous to ask Yosef to marry him, but he didn’t let the butterflies in his stomach stop him:

“I proposed. I was really nervous. But I got on my knees and I took out — not a box — I just had them in a little velvet pouch,” he said. “Instead of saying, ‘Will you marry me?’ I said, ‘I got you something.’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you.’ And he was like, ‘What is the question?’ [I said] ‘Would you marry me?’”

Now that these two are officially married (and ready to share the news with the world), they’re gearing up to celebrate.

“We’re doing a heavy party in a couple of months,” Martin shared with E! News. “The typical three-day party, the dinner, the rehearsal, the party and the recovery.”

In the meantime, however, these two are enjoying raising Martin’s twin boys, who were born via surrogacy, together in their gorgeous Los Angeles abode.

The couple recently showed Architectural Digest the place they call home, explaining how it’s the perfect start to their life together:

“There’s so much potential for crafting a vibrant, creative environment for our family,” Martin told the magazine. “You can never be sure what the future will bring, but I can’t wait to find out.”

And neither can we! Congratulations to the happy couple and their beautiful family!
