Salma Hayek’s Husband Surprised Her with a Vow Renewal Ceremony On Vacation

When Salma Hayek recently vacationed in Bora Bora with her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, she likely thought her time in paradise couldn’t get any better.

That was before Pinault surprised her with a beautiful vow renewal ceremony.

Hayek shared some photos of the happy occasion on Instagram, where she expressed her gratitude for the sweet surprise and noted her slightly dressed-down look for the event, writing, “The summer is coming to an end and my best moment was when my husband surprised me with a vow renewal — it was not what I would have chosen to wear to my wedding but I was told I was going to the spa! #luckyinlove #wedding.”

She also provided a Spanish translation of her caption of the photos, which included snapshots of a second marriage certificate, water being poured onto the couple’s entwined hands, the two giving joint thumbs-up and Hayek throwing her bouquet to their daughter, Valentina.

Wow! Headed to the spa or not, Hayek looks gorgeous in her red dress, and her radiant smile reflects just how happy and in love she is.

The pair wed on Valentine’s Day 2009 in Paris, and they had a second ceremony in Venice, Italy, months later. It sounds like these two really know how to celebrate!

Hayek also shared a short video of a musician performing at the event, noting that there was no mariachi band on the island but that Pinault found this “one-man band.”
