Sam’s Club just dropped the cutest wine advent calendar

Sam's Club

Summer pretty much just ended. But, if you’re already looking forward to Christmas, I don’t blame you. This year has been rough, to say the least, so the cozy charm of the holidays is sounding pretty great right about now.

There’s no better way to count down to the holiday season than with an advent calendar — especially one that’s for the 21-and-over crowd, like a new and adorable 12 Days of Wine Calendar from Sam’s Club. Not only does it include 12 different 187-milliliter bottles of wine, but each one is labeled with a fun, wine-inspired ugly holiday sweater!

A Sam’s Club representative tells us the calendar is $37.98 and contains wine from California. You’ll get varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Sweet Riesling and more.

If you don’t have a Sam’s Club membership, which you will need to purchase their calendar, Aldi’s is also selling a wine advent calendar (and another one for beer and another with cheese!). Hitting stores on Nov. 4, their wine calendar will be $69.99 and is filled with 24 mini bottles.

You can also shop online for this fun holiday item. This WSJwine 2020 Wine Advent Calendar from Direct Wines Inc. has 24 mini bottles from all over the world and costs $139.99. There is also a 12 Nights of Wine countdown from VineBox for $129 or Flaviar’s Whisky Advent Calendar for $225 if wine’s not your thing.

If you want a calendar that doesn’t include adult beverages, you can find plenty of other countdown products filled with holiday gifts. Consider this “Friends” advent calendar or this 12 Days of Buffalo Plaid box from Bad Habit Boutique (for fans of the pattern or anyone who wants to stay cute and cozy this winter). If you’re not into plaid or want to pretend summer is sticking around right through the holidays, they also have a 12 Days of Tie Dye box.

You can even find some advent calendars for your pets. This DreamBone Holiday Advent Calendar is perfect for small dogs, while these Pure Being dog or cat calendars are filled with treats from Aldi.

Will you be ordering an advent calendar for yourself or someone in your life this holiday season?
