Sam’s Club Will Accept Visa Credit Cards Starting February 1st

Good news for all the Sam’s Club shoppers out there.  Originally, the only credit card that Sam’s Club would accept in stores was the Discover Card. Outside of the Discover Card, you had to use cash, a check, or a debit card.

More recently, Sam’s Club announced they will accept American Express. This happened after Costco and Sam’s Club announced their exclusive partnership would end in the Spring 2016.

According to the Wall Street Journal, starting February 1st, Sam’s Club will also make Visa credit card payments available. After adding Visa to the mix, Sam’s Club will accept all four major credit card networks.

By providing customers with more payment choices, Sam’s Club is hoping to attract more upscale customers.

What do you think?  Will you be shopping more at Sam’s Club now?
