Here’s How You Can Send Free Valentine’s Day Cards To Children In Hospitals
Even if you’re not a fan of “greeting card holidays,” you’ve got to admit—getting a Valentine’s Day card is always a nice surprise. It’s a simple gesture that can mean a lot, especially to children who may be spending the holiday in the hospital.
This year, you’ll find “Valentine Drives” happening in hospitals all around the country. Children’s hospitals are asking that you send their smallest patients a Virtual Valentine to brighten their day. It takes less than a minute, is free and can be done from whichever piece of technology you’re using to read this story.
From St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to local hospitals like Cincinnati Children’s and Texas Children’s, there is likely a hospital near you looking for help in showing their patients a little extra love. Below, Twitter user @JordanCaudill_ implores her followers to participate:
ATTENTION! If you go to Cincinnati Children's hospital website, you can send a Valentine to a child there for free! They are passed out evenly throughout the hospital! It will mean the world to all the babies who don't get to go to Valentine's parties or exchange Valentines.💓

All you need to do is find a hospital (or more than one) to which you’d like to send a valentine, write your own valentine message or choose a pre-written one if offered, and then send the e-valentine on its way.
If you’d like to send a little love to someone who needs it this Valentine’s Day, here are some hospitals we know are participating. You can choose to send one to a child at the hospital nearest you, or you can go wild and send one to a child at every hospital on the list. The process is the same and so is the end result—a smile for someone who truly needs it.
