If you’re not familiar with Selena’s story, we won’t give anything away. She died in 1995, at the age of 23, and her death was front-page news around the world. Two years later, the movie “Selena” was released, with Jennifer Lopez in the lead (and her breakout) role. Selena’s family welcomed Lopez with open arms, even inviting her into her home while she prepared for the role. According to Good Morning America, the actress even spent nights sleeping in Selena’s bed.
And if don’t know her music, here’s an offering from the Selena OFFICIAL YouTube page, which is overseen by her family. This music video features the song “I Could Fall in Love.”
