The best part? You can rent them out.
That’s right — mobile versions of your favorite burger spot! These Shake Shack food trucks will be available for private events, such as conferences, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and more. The burger chain will have one truck for rent in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania area and one in the Atlanta area.
On the food truck’s menu will many of Shake Shack classics, including burgers, crinkle fries, and those famously thick shakes.
According to a FAQ page, pricing is based on how long you’re renting the truck and how many people will be in attendance at your event. The company advises submitting an inquiry at least two weeks in advance.
If you’re one of the unlucky people not living near a Shake Shack, don’t be discouraged. Blogger A Cozy Kitchen has the perfect copycat Shake Shack burger recipe that’ll have you drooling after the first bite!
Because authenticity matters, she advises using potato rolls for the buns. (Martin’s is the brand Shake Shack uses.) Don’t forget to butter and toast it before assembly!
A copycat burger also requires, of course, the special sauce mixture of mayo, ketchup, pickle brine, and seasonings. She explains the proper assembly instructions which start with the special sauce on a toasted buttered bun and continues with lettuce, tomatoes, the patty, and ending with the cheese and pickles.
