As much as you’d like to avoid it, it’s hard not to get caught up in these great Internet debates. I mean, “The Dress” was trending for entirely too long, but that’s because people just couldn’t get over it. Was it blue and black? Or was it white and gold? You know you put your two cents in!
Well, say hello to the next internet phenomenon: These super shiny legs. The internet is going crazy over the extreme glossiness of these legs after a picture was posted to Twitter.
If you think this seems rather silly, then you haven’t seen these legs. Because they are ridiculously shiny.
Wtf is up with these shiny legs creating hysteria on the internet https://t.co/OXbnnQsB7f pic.twitter.com/JImXZVsFoV

According to Mashable, this photo was posted to Instagram in September, but it’s the Twitter repost that’s caused it to go viral more recently.
Now here’s the catch, folks: People are either thinking that the legs are covered in oil OR that there’s white paint strategically placed to cause them to look shiny at first glance.
I honestly see two shiny legs on a white surface lol.

And, to be honest, once you hear the paint theory, it’s hard to see them as glossy ever again.
this upset me bc i saw shiny legs at first but now i can't cause i see the paint 😕 https://t.co/d4fJqBKENY

Funny how that works, isn’t it? Do you see the white paint? If so, I have a feeling this Internet debate won’t last nearly as long as “The Dress” did, but hey, it was fun while it lasted, right?

Until the next internet phenomenon, folks!
