Take a sneak peek at Target’s new activewear line

Target

New launches at Target are no joke. The retailer’s constantly giving customers reasons to get excited. Not only did they recently announce the Chip and Joanna Gaines Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collection that will deliver must-have pieces for your home, but they’ve also given us an activewear line to look forward to this fall.

Between Hearth & Hand and JoyLab, the upcoming activewear brand, your life will consist of all things Target as soon as these items are available to purchase. Because when it comes to delivering pieces you’ll live in, Target’s your one-stop shop in more ways than one. Not only will you wear the JoyLab collection to the gym, but you’ll also wear it to run errands, to have brunch—you name it. Because this line really is all about style and functionality. And that’s our favorite combo!

Target

According to a press release, JoyLab is best described as, “fitness-meets-fashion-and-function.” The collection consists of everything from sports bras to gym bags, and sizing ranges from XS-4X.

The range of sizing is important to note here, because finding quality, affordable athleisure wear for curvy body types is easier said than done. That’s not to say that plus size activewear does not exist. There are brands such as Addition Elle, 90 Degree by Reflex and Torrid making it possible for women of all shapes and sizes to find cute leggings and more.

These Addition Elle leggings, for example, are an excellent representation of other brands that are also totally owning the fashion-meets-function design aspect at a comfortable ($58) price point.

Addition Elle

But shopping items like these isn’t necessarily as convenient as stopping by your local Target store. While you might find a Torrid shop in your local mall, 90 Degree has a single location in New York City, and Addition Elle is online-only. And activewear is one of those categories of clothing it’s nice to try on before buying, if only so you can subject those leggings to the bend-over test.

And don’t even get us started on sports bras.

Target

Because the line is from Target, you can also count on it being affordable. Prices range from $14.99 to $44.99.

OK. Enough talk. Let’s see some more of what this activewear line really has to offer, shall we?

If you thought you wore leggings all of the time before, you haven’t seen anything yet. Since these happen to look cool on top of being comfortable, you won’t want to take them off.

Target

The little details really bring the collection to life. These polka dots, for example—too cute!

The ability to coordinate or mix and match really is a nice element, too.

Target

And the fact that it’s size-inclusive makes it even better.

Target

OK—wait a second. Is this a pocket for your cell phone in a sports bra? This really is fashion and function, all in one.

Target

Looking forward to shopping these items? We’re right there with you! You can expect to shop the new Target collection in stores and online on Oct. 1—mark your calendars!
