New Snickers almond brownie candy bar hits stores this summer

If a Snickers bar is one of your go-to treats when you’re craving something sweet, you may be excited to learn that there’s a new flavor of this classic candy bar coming out soon.

Snickers almond brownie, which will hit store shelves nationwide in August 2021, will feature a chewy brownie filling mixed with chopped almonds and topped with a layer of caramel, all coated in dark chocolate. You can find it in a single size, share size or sharing stand-up pouch. The single size has 180 calories per pack.

The new treat follows the release of Snickers peanut brownie and Snickers peanut brownie ice cream bar, which are both available in stores nationwide now.

While the peanut brownie features a chewy peanut-brownie filling, a layer of caramel and a classic Snickers chocolate coating, the ice cream is brownie-flavored with chewy brownie bits, topped with a thin layer of caramel and peanuts covered in a milk chocolate coating.

This is far from the first time Snickers reinvented their classic candy bar. In 2018, they introduced three new candy bar flavors. The limited-edition flavors included fiery, which had a hot pepper flavor, espresso and salty & sweet.

Then in January 2020, the brand announced the return of white chocolate Snickers, which is original Snickers made with white instead of milk chocolate. While it was originally a limited-edition treat, white chocolate Snickers is now a permanent addition for the brand.

There are also a handful of other Snickers flavors, like hazelnut, almond and crunchy peanut butter.

If you’re still craving even more Snickers yumminess, you can also buy Snickers coffee creamer, Snickers-flavored chocolate milk and Snickers popcorn, which is drizzled with caramel and then covered with ground-up Snickers candy and nuts.

Of course, you can also make your own Snickers treats, like these Snickers snack cups or this Snickers slab pie, which calls for Pillsbury pie crust, whipping cream, cream cheese, peanut butter, caramel and Snickers.
