Sofia Vergara Has An Inflatable Bull Pool Float And You Can Buy One On Amazon

Pool toys have evolved far beyond the pool noodles and dive sticks of our youth. We’re talking giant swans, oversized pink flamingoes and even doughnut floats making a splash in the water. (And yes, because unicorns are having a moment, we should mention you can float on one of those mythical creatures, too).

But saddle up for this next one. We’re calling it: The summer’s coolest pool toy is less about lazing and more about playing in the water. Amazon is selling a bull-riding pool toy, known as the Intex Inflat-A-Bull. That’s right. You can turn your pool party into an aquatic rodeo! Go ahead, start making a country playlist to blast from this waterproof speaker.

Helping propel the trend is an unofficial endorsement from Colombian-American actress Sofia Vergara. She took to Instagram and posted a candid video of herself attempting to mount the bull, which flung her off almost instantly. See! Celebrities—they’re just like us! Although, something tells us Vergara looks way more glamorous falling off an inflatable bull than most of us do even on our best day.

When she emerges from the water, we can hear her say “No puedo!” (Translation: I can’t!)

Vergara’s video caption: “I’m getting very good at it” with an accompanying hashtag, #Ihaveallsummer.

Another humble IG post is captioned, “Looks like I did it, but I didn’t.”

But it appears pool floats are all in the family (“Modern Family,” that is). Vergara’s “Modern Family” co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson posted a photo of himself flailing and flopping on a pool float with the caption: “I’m getting very good at it too.” He borrowed Vergara’s hashtag #ihaveallsummer and tagged her in the post.

Side note: Can we just take a moment to admire Vergara’s pool float collection and her honest depictions? The post below is captioned: “Girls..this is how u graciously get on your pool bird.”

Alas, back to the bulls. We’ll clear up your safety concerns. The inflatable bull is not like the electronic bulls you’ve ridden at bars.

Nonetheless, your family and friends  can rock the outer tube making it a challenge to stay on the bull. It sells for $137, which is a small price to pay to have a pool party like celebs, right?

Worth noting, the Amazon reviews of the non-celeb variety are promising.

“This bull took a punishing week with 7-8 teenagers, small kids and adults having a blast playing non stop with this inflatable beast,” one reviewer writes.

Another says: “Everybody is envious.”

You can go ahead and put us in that category, too.
