Someone designed a cozy cocoon chair that has a built-in blanket

Kseniya Alferova

You know that feeling on a cold winter morning when you’re so perfectly warm and cozy, there’s no way you could get out of bed? Well, there’s a product out there that might make it a little bit easier. The only catch is that you might only make it as far as your living room.

So what is it? It’s called COLE, and it’s a chair with “wings” of fabric that hang at the sides, which the sitter can wrap around themselves to bundle up. It’s like a chair with a built-in blanket. Check it out:

Besides the fact that we don’t understand why this woman appears to be wearing normal shoes (obviously, this chair calls for fuzzy slippers), we have to admit she looks pretty darn comfortable.

The chair comes from Russian furniture designer Kseniya Alferova, and it looks like the perfect way to settle in for a movie marathon!

The COLE is not the only piece of furniture out there that’s sure to keep you indoors until spring rolls around. The Moody Nest is a cushy sofa and blanket all rolled into one, and it looks like a couch potato’s dream. Check out this video of the innovative couch in action:

The Moody Nest comes from Frankfurt-based designer Hanna Emelie Ernsting. The product description reads: “Moody Nest was created with the intention to provide an especially intense feeling of comfort, warmth and intimacy. The user should be fully absorbed by the opulent cover in order to be able calm down completely.”

Unfortunately, it appears that neither the COLE nor the Moody Nest are currently available for purchase, so if you’re looking for comfort and coziness that you can actually get your hands on, check out this list of super-warm and comfy items from Amazon. Fair warning: you may never leave your house ever again!
