Someone designed a ‘Hocus Pocus’ Lego set that’s based on the Sanderson sisters’ house

In recent years, the ’90s witch flick “Hocus Pocus” has had a resurgence in popularity, to the point where fans can now buy all sorts of “Hocus Pocus”-related goodies to show their love of the film.

Nearly 30 years after the film’s release in 1993, you can now find “Hocus Pocus” costumes, board games and even face masks to wear on your next grocery trip run. These themed goods are cute now, and they’ll be even more fun to break out when the “Hocus Pocus” sequel is released!

Soon, you may be able to add even more “Hocus Pocus” fun to your life with a Lego replica of the Sanderson sisters’ iconic house! While not for sale just yet, the toy set has been designed and submitted to Lego Ideas. It has already achieved the 10,000 supporters it needs to go on to the official product review stage. If approved then, it will eventually hit store shelves.

Complete with pretty much every pertinent detail from the movie — from the black flame candle to Winifred’s spellbook and even the cages hanging from the ceiling where the sisters keep their next “meal” — the set represents the exact moment when Max Dennison lights the black flame candle, accidentally bringing the sisters back to life.

The set consists of around 2,700 parts, including the cottage, zombie Billy Butcherson’s grave and figurines of sisters Winifred, Sarah and Mary. You’ll also find Max, Dani, Allison, Binx the cat (plus his human form, Thackery), Thackery’s sister Emily and even Erine/Ice and Jay, two of Max’s school bullies who get trapped in the sisters’ cages.

The Dani, Max and Allison figurines even feature two faces, allowing you to pose them with happy or scared expressions.

The set can also be customized to look like the Sandersons’ home as if it were 1693 or the Sanderson Museum it was turned into before Max lit the candle. Other features include Winifred’s broom, Sarah’s mop and Mary’s vacuum, and a purple flame coming out of the chimney to symbolize the moment the sisters returned.

This is not the only famous movie house that was made into a Lego set. Ralphie’s home from “A Christmas Story” was also created for Lego Ideas in 2017, but it did not get enough votes and never materialized. The kitchen from the animated movie “Ratatouille” was also a possible set last year, and while it did get the 10,000 supporters, it was not approved.

There are some film sets available for purchase, however, like the ones for “Ghostbusters” and “Back to the Future,” plus sets for TV shows, like “The Big Bang Theory” and “Friends.”
