Nothing beats the summer heat like your favorite ice cream — unless, of course, you mix that ice cream with something else, like lemonade.

Sonic is doing just that with a new triple-layered float that not only comes with frozen lemonade but also vanilla ice cream and berries.

The fast-food chain’s new lemonberry slush float is made with a layer of frozen lemonade slush on the bottom, a middle layer of their soft-serve ice cream, and then is topped off with real strawberries. You can find it at Sonic locations nationwide now through Aug. 2, and a medium costs $2.99.

Sonic’s new brownie batter and yellow cake batter shakes are also available through Aug. 2. Plus, they have a variety of milkshakes and 12 other kinds of slushes, including a candy slush that comes in either blue raspberry or grape and has Nerds candies mixed in.

They’ve also brought back their BBLT for a limited time, which has six slices of bacon, tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise and looks like it would pair perfectly with just about any shake or float.

Don’t have a Sonic near you? Making your own float, slushie or milkshake is not as daunting as it may sound. You’ll just need a blender for milkshakes, but if slushies are more your thing, you can buy a slushie machine to whip them up quickly and easily.

There are plenty of recipes out there, like this copycat Chick-Fil-A frosted lemonade that is sure to cool you down, or this watermelon lemonade slush recipe. If you’d rather use ice cream, Disney shared the recipe for their famous peanut butter and jelly milkshake, and that looks like a must-try.

Of course, summer also means it’s time for frozen cocktails, so check out these White Claw slushes, this refreshing slush made with watermelon, vodka and prosecco and this delicious raspberry bourbon float.

Cheers to all of these!
