Isn’t it every child’s dream to get discovered by Ellen DeGeneres and rise to viral fame? Or is it just me? Anyways, who remembers the outrageously excited singing duo, Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie, who made their TV debut on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”?

Here’s a refresher: Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland hail from Essex, England. Back in Sept. 2011, the girls’ mothers decided to upload a video on YouTube of them covering Nicki Minaj’s hit single, “Super Bass,” in pretty pink outfits complete with tutus and tiaras.

The adorable video immediately went viral and as of today has over 53 million views. It didn’t take long for Ellen, queen of discovering over-the-top cute and talented kids, to invite them on to her show in Oct. 2011.

The energetic duo absolutely crushed their rendition of “Super Bass”! Few things are as entertaining as eight-year-old Sophia Grace and five-year-old Rosie belting out Minaj’s fast raps and harmonies! (Well, at the time Rosie was still a bit shy, not speaking much, but she’s right there by Sophia Grace’s side.)

Obviously, they were huge hits and have since returned to the show multiple times. They even went on to host their own segment called “Tea Time with Sophia Grace and Rosie.” In the segment, the duo invited and interviewed guests over tea. Major stars who have been graced with the girls’ presence include Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Hugh Grant, Justin Bieber and Reese Witherspoon.

Fast forward to today and Sophia Grace and Rosie have been in TV shows, movies and have even published two illustrated story books.

Recently, the duo took time to wish DeGeneres a very happy birthday. The talk show host turned 60 years old on Jan. 26 and was happily surprised by the two ladies who are now all grown up.

“Wow, that is amazing,” DeGeneres said after watching the message during Friday’s episode. “See, you probably know a lot of people who have kids and that’s when you feel like you’re aging because you see them age and then you compare it and so now I feel old.”

In the video, Rosie, now 11, and Sophia Grace, a full-grown teenager at 14 years old, shared their favorite memories from their times on the show. Rosie brought up the time when DeGeneres slimed the two of them, reminiscing, “I loved it, but it was freezing cold!”

Sophia Grace chimed in saying, “My top, like best, funniest memory from the show was when we got those wigs from Ellen. It was hilarious!” — referring to a time DeGeneres gifted them both with colorful, Minaj-style wigs.

Other big-time celebrities have wished everyone’s favorite day-time talk show host a happy birthday, including Justin Timberlake, who serenaded DeGeneres with the help of his band The Tennessee Kids. They performed a version of “Happy Birthday” via satellite from his tour.

Last but not least, Kristen Bell gave the birthday girl a shirt that says “It took 60 years to look this good,” and went on to introduce her husband, Dax Shepard,  who wrote an original song about how DeGeneres made 60 look “so sexy”:

Happy 60th, Ellen DeGeneres!
