For Festive St. Patrick’s Day Nails, Try This Super Simple Marbleized Manicure

My Simple Little Pleasures/YouTube

You can’t be caught not wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day, and one way to ensure you’ll carry a little bit of luck with you is to make sure your manicure is full of green.

Now, you could go and try to hand-paint shamrocks or clovers on your nails, or you could try this amazingly simple, green marbleized mani.

Thanks to this tutorial from My Simple Little Pleasures, all you need to nail (see what we did there?) a marbleized manicure is a steady hand and a glass of water.

As you’ll see in the video, this nail artist uses drops of white and green polish along with a pencil-like utensil to create a four-leaf clover shape. As long as you act quickly and don’t give the polish time to dry, it will sit on top of the water and be easy to work with.

Once you’ve got the clover design just the way you want it, you simply dip the fingers you want the design to appear on down into the cup, and there you go. The clover pattern is transferred onto your nails. Who knew it could be as simple as that?

If you’re feeling brave, you can also branch out and try other nail DIYs for St. Paddy’s Day.

There are a slew of tutorials available on YouTube, so choose your favorite, have your wand at the ready and paint away!

This one, for example, encourages you to get festive by swapping the traditional white French tip for a green one on Mar. 17.

And if your drawing abilities are up to par, you can even take it a step further and add a shamrock to a few of your nails, as well.

As far as St. Patrick’s Day manicures go, the more green color and creativity the better! So, settle down in front of YouTube and start painting.
