Starbucks introduces two new Frappuccinos topped with cold brew whipped cream

Although it’s only the beginning of May, the temperatures creeped into the 80s where I live, so it’s officially summer in my mind. What better way to celebrate than with some new Frappucinos from Starbucks?

The coffee chain just introduced two new frozen, blended beverages: the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino and Triple Mocha Frappuccino. Both are available at Starbucks locations in the United States and Canada as of May 1.


The new drinks include sweet cold brew whipped cream, which is infused with cold brew coffee, dark caramel sauce and white chocolate mocha sauce.

“Right away, you taste something different with the sweet cold brew whipped cream,” Debbie Antonio, senior manager for Starbucks R&D, said in a press release. “Sip after sip, you get the blended coffee and the lighter whip with the dark caramel threaded all the way through.”

Not into Frappuccinos? You can also request this new topping on any cold or hot beverage for just 50 cents. Yum!

The company showed off the Ultra Caramel Frappucino in a mesmerizing video on its Instagram, and the decadent beverage totally looks like #summergoals:

Meanwhile, the Triple Mocha Frappuccino will be a mocha Frappuccino with mocha sauce at the bottom of the cup, a layer of cold brew whipped cream and a drizzle of mocha sauce on top. Heavenly!
