Stella Artois is launching its first spritzer just in time for spring
While my favorite type of weather consists of “I’ll take all the snow, please,” there is precisely one thing I love about warmer days: the drinks. Sure, hot chocolate with a bit of a buzz is nice in the winter, but there is something about the transition to spring that makes me want to drink all the fizzy, fruity drinks.
It is also the time of year when you’ll find new drinks hitting store shelves as everyone tries to put the long winter days behind them and get ready for summer. That includes Stella Artois, who have just released their first-ever spritzer!
The company says the spritzer is a “crisp” and “refreshing” dry cider made from a blend of apples and hibiscus flavors, with a 3.5 percent ABV. (By way of comparison, wines like prosecco and Riesling have 12.5 percent ABV or less.) It’s also gluten-free.
If you’ll be enjoying this spritzer with food, Stella Artois says it pairs well with “an apple walnut salad, Romano cheese, prosciutto, and apricot jam.” You can find the spritzer in stores nationwide and drink it straight from the 12-ounce can, in a wine glass, or mixed into a cocktail.
Will you be trying the new spritzer this spring or sticking to the original Stella Artois cidre?
