Steph Curry is the proud dad of three children, and he also happens to be one of the greatest NBA players in the league. So, of course, his kids are going to become quite accustomed to cheering on their dad from the stands. His youngest and only son, Canon, is only nine months old, but it’s never too soon to become a basketball fan!

Curry had his son present at a Golden State Warriors vs. Charlotte Hornets game on March 31, and it was absolutely adorable to see the father and son together in the stands before game time. ESPN caught the two on camera and posted the adorable video on their Instagram:

Steph and Canon were accompanied by Steph’s father, Dell Curry, who also played professional basketball from 1986 until 2002. Dell may have been attending the game to cheer his son on, but it looks like he also helped out with grandpa duties, too. All in all, this was one heck of an adorable family outing!

Even though Canon is still in diapers, this isn’t the first time he’s been present to see his dad play. Back in October of 2018, Curry commemorated his son’s first basketball game with a post on Instagram:

“My dudes [sic] first game tonight! so surreal,” the proud papa wrote:

So, where did the Curry family come up with this unique baby name? Steph told NBC Sports that when he and wife Ayesha Curry were researching baby names, they found that “Canon” means “officiant of the church” and “young wolf.”

“I like the ingredients of that,” the 31-year-old explained. “A lot of research. It’s not a dramatic story, but we like the name and the meanings behind it.”

And his “young wolf” certainly was there to support him during his game!

Of course, this family man has a great support system on and off the court thanks to Ayesha, who’s a mom and successful businesswoman in her own right.

In his 2014-2015 MVP speech, he thanked his wife for all she does for their family, which was only a family of three at the time:

“You’re my backbone, you allowed me to do what I do, to focus on basketball and my career, and still have a family. The sacrifices you make are unbelievable. And I can’t thank you enough for who you are as a person, how you challenge me, how you inspire me every single day. We have a beautiful daughter, and one on the way; she’s over there smiling at me. I love you so much and I can’t thank you enough for just being there for me day-in and day-out.”

Go, Team Curry! We’re forever fans.
