Supermodel Ashley Graham gave birth to her first child

Supermodel Ashley Graham, 32, has welcomed her first child. Graham gave birth to a baby boy on Jan. 18.

She took to her Instagram story to share the exciting news that she and her husband, director Justin Ervin, officially became parents as of 6:00 p.m. that day.

Graham has open about her pregnancy journey, showing pictures of her changing body online throughout the months. And her announcement also came through social media.

She also posted the news to Twitter:

“At 6:00 p.m. on Saturday our lives changed for the better,” she wrote on her story. “Thank you for all your love and support during this incredible time.”

So far, a name has not yet been announced. The couple has not released images of the infant, either. The closest the couple has come to showing the public a picture is through a sonogram than Ervin posted months ago on his Instagram page at @mrjustinervin.

Graham and Ervin have been married for nine years, and on their anniversary on Aug. 14, 2019, she used the occasion to share the news of her pregnancy on the social media platform with this sweet video:

“Surprise!” the couple yelled with joy in the video as the camera panned to reveal Graham’s emerging baby bump.

“Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life,” she wrote in the caption. “It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin Life is about to get even better.”

During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Nov. 7, 2019, she revealed that she was expecting a boy. Check out her excitement in the video posted by the show to YouTube below:

“I’m having a boy!” she yells with utter joy. “I’m going to be a mommy to a boy.”

Back in 2016, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her and her husband’s plan’s to start a family sometime soon.

“We are going to totally have kids,” she told the outlet. “We are probably going to do it in the next few years. Just another part of my brand-building.”
