Sweet Old Man Builds Dog Train For His Rescued Pups

80 year-old Eugene Bostick has created a clever way to take his stray dogs out for some fun each day. He simply cut a hole in large plastic barrels, attached some wheels and hooked them up to his lawn mower.

I’ve seen this idea executed at local festivals and fairs, (where kids get in and take rides around) but never for dogs.

This is the coolest guy he rescues stray dogs and every morning he takes them for a train ride by our building, i finally got the courage up to ask if I could take his pic! Love this and had to share!

Eugene spoke to The Dodo and said, “People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.”

And apparently they love it. According to Eugene, when the dogs see him hooking the pup-train up to the mower, they all get excited and jump in on their own.
