Sure, Why Not Wear A Swimsuit With Your Pet’s Face On It?

It’s not always an option to take your pet on vacation — that is, before you knew these swimsuits existed. PetFlair makes it possible for you to rock swimwear, towels and other items emblazoned with your beloved pet’s face on it. You’ll never have to go on vacation without Fluffy ever again!

PetFlair launched on Kickstarter on Sept. 13 and has currently raised $42,000 — a whopping $30,000 over its original goal.

You simply upload a photo of your pet from your smartphone and choose your favorite background option. Your item can feature the face of one of your pets, or two pets if their faces are close together in the photo that you send. Once the Kickstarter fundraising campaign is completed, PetFlair will send backers a photography guide with helpful tips so you can get the perfect shot, according to their site.

Both male and female bathing suits are available, as well as beach towels, beach bags and stickers. All items come in an array of solid colors with optional patterns in the background. A sizing guide will be sent to backers once the campaign is finished so they can choose the right size swimsuit.

According to PetFlair’s Kickstarter page, the swimsuits will be made to order at the same factory in Europe that makes custom swimsuits for the Olympics. (One of PetFlair’s co-founders is an Olympic water polo player from Australia who makes custom swimwear!)

Perhaps the best part of all that PetFlair has partnered with Pound Paws, an Australian charity supported by volunteers and donations which connects animals on death row with new, loving owners. In fact, one of the co-founders of PetFlair is also the founder of PoundPaws!

So you can feel good about your cool new bathing suit but also how your purchase is helping an animal in need.

If you pre-order from PetFlair soon, you should hopefully get your order (shipped internationally!) just in time for the holidays! Well, what are you waiting for?
